I'm João, a Brazilian software engineer specialized in frontend development. I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and bring 17 years of practical experience across startups and large organizations.

I wrote my first lines of code at 14 and have since worked with a wide range of technologies, including Classic ASP, PHP, DataFlex, and Delphi. With that broad engineering background, I discovered a passion for frontend development through ES6+, React, and its ecosystem, building high-quality applications supported by unit testing and CI/CD. I see technologies as tools: my work is grounded in engineering fundamentals, practical problem-solving, and delivering results that support business goals.

From 2015 to 2022, I focused on frontend engineering at companies such as iClinic (acquired by Afya), Magalu, Olist, and Grupo Boticário. These experiences deepened my technical expertise and gave me opportunities to build and lead engineering teams.

Since 2022, I've been working as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Rain Technologies Inc., an AI-powered financial wellness platform, collaborating with talented professionals around the world to build products that serve thousands of employees across the United States.
